RUSTIC SAWMARK AND DISTRESSING TECHNOLOGY
Beakler Consulting recently supported the development of a proprietary, patent-pending technology which applies rustic saw marks onto wood components. Although many commercial methods are available to produce this visual and texture, this method is truly unique. The production process is a repeatable, random process and may be applied to any flat stock including flooring, paneling – almost any component!
ACCELERATED WOOD SPALTING
We continue to adjust our process parameters to spalt hard maple lumber in less than 3 months. This is a process that can take several years to occur naturally in a log. Our client has scaled up and built specialized spalting chambers to accelerate the process to provide commercial quantities of lumber or specialized dimensions.
